Any way to disable update notifications per-app?
So I've got a Droid 4, and lately I've been getting application update notifications for this app called MOG Mobile Music. I didn't install the app, and since I cannot completely remove it I assume that it's some of Verizon's pre-loaded crapware. At any rate, I don't use it, and the "new" permissions that it's asking for are far more than I'm comfortable providing for an application that I don't want and never chose to install, so I don't install the updates. But I'm still prompted to do so on a daily basis. Is there any way to disable update notifications on a per-app basis? I'm sure that I could root and then uninstall the app or something to get rid of it permanently, but then I'd be out of luck for any future carrier updates.
Any suggestions? - 07-20-2012, 01:41 PM #2

Root your Phone and get Titanium backup and Freeze the app. That did it for me no more updates.

I have apps frozen in TBP and still get update notifications from the Play Store for them.
