gmail notification opens mail instead of inbox hd multimedia dock computer

i only got droid 4 this past monday i have 2 questions

1. new gmail ics how come whenever i get a new gmail notification on my phone it just opens up the email don't like that is there a way it just goes straight to inbox instead open mail or not

2. as of now i only charge my phone up to wall charger if i were to get multimedia docking station will it charge phone up computer via usb if not is there any dock station that use usb to pc

1. I'm not sure what your problem is. When you tap a new email notification you want it to take you to your inbox? It already does that. Or do you want it to take you to directly to the new email?

2. The Motorola HD docks do come with an ability to charge via USB. They come with a long plug that goes into the wall and has a micro USB port for the back of the dock. If you want to charge it via your computer plugged into the dock, you could try using your cable that came with the phone to plug into the dock and the computer, but I've never tried that.
