"minor" issues with Jelly Bean 4.1.2

I was wondering if anyone else had the following issues since the Jelly Bean update. I noticed since the update that auto correct changes what I am typing after I type it. I have it disabled in the settings but it still does it. Also while using certain app, I can not "search" because for whatever reason, the app no longer recognizes the command when I hit enter or search button.

I have a Droid 4 that is not rooted or hacked in any way. Any help will be appreciated.
