I was moving an icon from one screen to the next and evidently held the icon too long?? Its like I took a screen shot of the icon I was moving and it's now on all of the screens, like its layered over the wallpaper and under each screens' icons. Any idea of what I did or how to remove it??

Don't know what stock launcher is, but I just got it yesterday & the only thing I've had time to do is download my apps... If you look at the screenshots, the shopkick/gallery/etc icons are not really apps & they are on every screen. And thanks for helping me since I don't know what I'm doing!!

That's bizarre... Almost like the floaty icon feature in AOKP (custom firmware)... Maybe it's early screen burn-in? (just kidding :p )

Have you tried restarting your phone? What happens if you tap or tap-and-hold on those icons?

rather interesting...i assume you cant long press to get rid of them? are they clickable, as in opens the app? if not, have you tried to change wallpapers?

if none of the above fix it, i would imagine it has something to do with the launcher. so you could either download a third party launcher like nova launcher or apex laucher OR you could go to settings>apps>slide over to all apps>find the stock launcher (i think its called homescreen???) and clear data.

Well I got it fixed... I had tried a long hold to select it but that didn't work because it wasn't actually an icon. Then I tried changing the wallpaper & that didn't work. Turned it off & restarted, didn't work. Turned it off, plugged it in to charge, left it off for a few hours & its gone now. Who knows???

And yes, it was freaking hot in Nebraska today... got up to 105!
