Any idea why the charge would increase without charging it?

I took my phone off the charger this morning and it seems to be going down a little bit quicker than I thought it would compared to what it has been for the past several days. When it got down to 91 percent it suddenly jump back up to 95 percent. I know it does wireless charging but I don't think I have anything in my pocket that would quite do that. :). Looking at the battery graph yesterday I noticed that there was also a slight jump in it somewhere in the middle of the day.

I have no answer for you but have noticed the same thing. Mine dropped to 97% I turned the screen off and a short while later turned it back on and it said 100%.

Not really sure, but I did pull mine off the charger at 94% yesterday and sometime later after I checked my messages it was at 99%. I am not really sure why it would do that unless it was based on some sort of predictive use, instead of reading it like a fuel tank on a car. For all I know its just a glitch.

It could be some sort of residual charge, I've noticed with my extended battery in my s3 that when left at rest it will jump up by as much as 8%. It actually is starting to seem pretty common with extended batteries, which the maxx has one built in.

It's the Qi charging coils. As you move across the earth's magnetic lines, it moves the electrons in the coils and produces current that charges the phone. :p
