I just picked me MAXX up yesterday, and it immediately updated, but it was just the patch to 4.2.2
system version is 12.15.15
Isnt KitKat 19.5.3? (or something like that)

I received an email today to join "a" soak test. Did not say what software, and since I have no desire to be a guinea pig, I didn't join in. I'm guessing, it might be for a new release of 4.4 since the last one seemed to brick some phones....

I hope it rolls out soon. I had the x and as soon as I got the 4.4 OTA update Google wallet started working with Tap Pay. I'm sure hoping thats how it goes on the max.

Tap to Pay does work on the Maxx and Ultra after 4.4 update. I have the Ultra, husband has the Maxx and we're both on 4.4 and Tap to Pay is working.
