Default Using my MAXX in France

Looks like I'll be visiting France this summer, so I want to start thinking ahead on options for using my MAXX while I'm there. Anyone have any advice or know of some options?

Yeah, I'm looking at that now. Looks pricey, but I imagine that may be the case with anything. I'm also looking at a pre-paid sim option (ex: Contenu business men), but I imagine that would mean a different phone number, and I'm still looking into the details.

If you don't need access to a phone 24/7, try Talkatone + Google Voice. That'll give you free internet calling anywhere you have Wi-Fi. It may use your GV number, but it's free.

I used my MAXX when I went to the Philippines and India on business, and it was solid. I had the Verizon global plan in case of emergencies, but having Wi-Fi available is the way to go. I used Viber for messaging and Skype for calls and video calls with my wife stateside.

Yep...I did the same thing when I went to Spain. Worked out pretty good and not that expensive.
