Its for 4.4 and above, that app has settings to change resolution of the camera.(finally) I had to disable the Motorola camera and you lose the twist to shoot effect. But its worth it in my opinion.

? Photo Spheres for immersive 360? views
? Lens Blur mode for SLR-like photos with shallow depth of field
? Panorama mode with high resolution
? 100% viewfinder for getting the maximum resolution from the sensor (no dropped pixels)
? Updated UI that gets out of your way and is centered on an extra large capture button
? Works on phones and tablets running Android 4.4+ KitKat

I ain't giving up my twist and shoot! Dang near the best use of hardware ever. A fast and maybe not the best pic is better than a really good oh, no, too late one.!

I didn't have to disable the stock camera, twist to shoot brings up stock and can select the Google camera app when I want to use it. Best of both worlds.

Just add a camera widget to lock screen. That's what I do for more difficult shots and use focal.

I'll try the Google one.

With the stock camera you can move the focus ring around the screen to adjust the metering and focus. Can you do spot metering with the Google camera?
