Why isn't my mobile network available?

Mobile Network Not Available

Verizon Droid Mini, Sim card.... Not able to make or receive calls. Sim replaced and network provisioning checked, still no go. Verizon rep said possible wireless antenna fried?!? Any suggestions, fixes, hacks.....recommendations for destroying the phone, lol.

Welcome to Android Central! If the Verizon people can't get it working, then it's probably a hardware issue, as the rep suggested. If the Droid Mini doesn't have Advanced Calling (i.e., Voice Over LTE), then the SIM shouldn't matter when it comes to making or receiving calls, since that's done with the CDMA radio.
