After i got the OTA Update for Gingerbread everytime i shut my phone off and turn it back on the LED light flashes green for HOURS and its annoying. i dont have any missed notifications that i can find. i just dont want it to flash unless i actually have a notification. Any help?

Maybe there are messages in your stock 'MESSAGING' app which you might have blocked in your third party app. Same with other email/dialer/contact services.

Stock applications are the upright culprit here.
