I'm trying to do the same thing. What I'm hearing is that the latest update patched the vulnerability that allowed root previously. So you and I are SOL for the time being. Hopefully someone will be able to figure out a way to root it again. I waited too long and am now kicking myself...

how do i do that? is there instructions somewhere?

I'm also waiting for an answer to this. Everywhere you go people say "just flash this" or "go do this" and that's it. Well a lot of us aren't 100% sure how to do these things because we get our own phone set up once and that's all we need.

So....HELP!

I would like to know also... I'm using an old droid pro as a daily driver until I get my S3. I can't stand this POS and it runs like crap. Thought I'd root and flash something else for the next several weeks.

Help...

EDIT: Found a way that worked for me
