So here's the deal: Even if you get the SIM unlock code, you're not going to be able to use it on AT&T, at least not until it gets hacked open.

Now, the next question.. What if I unlock it and bring it to Canada? At that point it's Global..presumably, it would work.

Thanks for the info Phil. If anything changes be sure to let me know. I am looking to switch to android but AT&T's offerings are a joke. The DPRO would be perfect seeing I'm coming from a BB9700
