    Default Yahoo mail notification

I am using the Yahoo Mail app and I can't seem to figure out how to change the notification ringtone. I already looked in sounds under settings and its set to Notification_Sonar (carryover from BB ) and it still doesn't ring like I want it to. Thanks for your help.

The notification sound setting for Yahoo! email is in the app itself, and not under Settings.

Open the Email icon, press Menu > Email Settings > Notifications

In the Yahoo! App, I found the checkbox for the sound notification but it wont allow me to choose a custom ringtone. Its just a checkbox for either yes or no sound notification and that's it.

Nevermind" I just added my Yahoo account to the email program built into the Pro and was able to set up my BB sonar ringtone as the notification. Cool.

Can you share the details as far as how you were able to add your yahoo account to the native email app?

It actually took several tries for a successful addition. However I have since turned to maildroid. The problem was I had it set to push my email and also 15 minute fetch and my email would come in anywhere from 5 to 50 minutes after it was sent. I have been using maildroid and haven't had any problems.
