New extended battery with VZ case still fits.
Just wanted to let everyone know that the extended battery with the VZ hard 2 piece case still fits so I am a happy camper.

Good to know. I myself am gonna wait on the extended battery to hopefully drop a bit in price. In the meantime I ordered a replacemt battery. Even if it only lasts the same as my original battery, it was only $5! I got the amazon link from the holy ****aki mushrooms thread in the Droid forum. Lol.

Well after using the case, it is not an exact fit but very useable and feels secure

Is this the clear snap-on case VZW sells? I bought it and love it, but I'm concerned that the extended battery won't work with it.

You just need to push it in.

Well after trying to make the OEM case fit, it is cockeyed and I gave up. Still working on it. It does work but funky.
