So I have to unroot my phone and restore everything to the original settings as I think I have a defective phone. My problem is that my phone will have a screen lock and then I just get a black screen. The phone is still powered on, but I can't do anything. The only way out of it is a battery pull. I've had my phone for 5 days now, and I haven't been able to go 24hours without a battery pull.
So I know how to unroot using z4root, but my question is do I have to flash the SBF or can I just do a factory restore? I haven't deleted any programs except some new ones that I had installed myself.
Thanks for any help and hopefully my replacement droid pro won't have the same problems. I've googled this problem and there have been a few cases of this happening but it doesn't seem to be too much of a problem.
