I can't seem to get my Droid Pro to charge from when either plugged into a laptop or on a generic car charger.

I does charge OK on the OEM wall charger.

It's not a cable issue.

Are the charging smarts in the wall charger that as needed for it to charge like some laptops use?

I'm assuming its to do with power limitation on a generic USB port?
Is there an app to convince it to to charge?

Will any Motorola Wall/Car charger work (like a regular droid one for example) ?

For my car charger, it isn't the one put out by Motorola, so it has to be laying in a certain position to charge, or else it disconnects. I have no problems with my laptop charger though.
