So far love this phone just taking a bit to get used to. Couple of questions which I can seem to find a direct answer for.

How you you delete apps that you have downloaded from the market that you don't want as they aren't working like you thought they would?

Second, how can I get a better notification when receiving an email or text? While at work have my droid docked in a "multimedia station" (yeah, right) with ringer off and want something bigger/better than just a little status bar notification.

To uninstall, go to:
Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications
touch an app in the list, then touch "uninstall"

For a sound when you have mail, go to:
Mail>Menu>Email Settings>Notifications
That will give you some options
