Yep i ran it for a few hours earlier today didn't really have anything special or different so I'm back to sense. But in those few hours it was stable and bug free

Who makes the sense port rom? I have been wanting to try that out. Used to use BB .9, was antsy for an update so went to Cyanogen (which is great but had better battery with BB so think Ill go back and try that out). But I would like to give the sense ui a try. I remember seeing something about it a long time ago but it wasnt fully functional. Is it all working well now?

    lol... Run it off here...
Most up to date everything... It ONLY works well if you ONLY use themes and kernels listed in the OP... If you dont follow that rule, your not getting a bugless rom... it will be all ****ered up..

I was using Cyanogen for about a month or so, until I found this. Its much smoother and snappier. Needless to say Im happy with my decision to switch to Bugless Beast.

I have used this rom the last 4 days, and it is nice, but it runs really hot for my phone. It might be the new SetCPU messing things, but repeatedly I have woken up and had this thing boiling at 50 C in my dock, even with failsafes on.

Its a setcpu issue. You can download an older version on xda.

Out of curiousity, since koush's rom manager isn't flashing clockwork. Can I install BB using sprecovery because there aren't any instructions at alldroid.

yeah SetCPU is awful since it got that update. Pete says you don't even have to use it or task killers with the ROM. I was very skeptical about this at first but I gave it a try and it's actually been handling it very well. My phone stays at a cool temp and the CPU speeds go up when needed and down when idle. All in all this ROM is GREAT!!! This is by far one of the best ROMs ever hands down. Very snappy and stable, I would not switch to any other ROM out unless Zuezdroid got that Sense UI port to work without the 3g call bug.

I agree, this is the best. Fast, no lag, stable.

I still use setcpu just for the profiles. This way it saves battery and doesn't overheat. For the standard setting I set it to 250-1000 which is Pete's settings. For the 1ghz kernel.

I also found out that after going from BB v0.9 to v1.0, my music app fast scroll function seems a bit tweaked.

Like when you're in any one of the lists in the music app (i.e. "Artists," "Albums," "Songs," or "Playlists") and you flick up or down the list, a gray square scroll bar to the right becomes visible and you can press and hold that to scroll too.

When I do that, typically the letter of the section of the list you're at pops up. Like if you're at a point in the list with songs that begins with "A", a letter "A" would usually pop up when you're fast scrolling.

Well, for some reason, mine doesn't pop up the correct letter anymore. In fact, it jumps to different parts of the alphabet, and some were even repeated in caps or lower case!

This doesn't happen in the phone book "Contacts" list though.

    Anyone have this same problem?

Thats a known bug with the 3d music player that shows album art.. You can ditch it for the milestone music app listed in the OP at merely-droid.net.. Then it will be in order.. OR you could just ignore the big letter that shows when you scroll and pay attention to the list...
