Rooting a BRAND NEW Droid

Do you have to activate the phone BEFORE you can root it?

When do you have to re-activate the phones? e.g. when you root again, or when you change ROMS or ??

Certain roms want you to reactivate, mostly when you return to stock, no root. If you are talking about your initial activation, I say go for it an then root from there.

I would activate it first justvin case. It wont hurt if you activate it first but I don't know what will happen if you don't.
