Rooting a BRAND NEW Droid
Do you have to activate the phone BEFORE you can root it?
When do you have to re-activate the phones? e.g. when you root again, or when you change ROMS or ?? - 05-14-2010, 01:07 PM #2
Certain roms want you to reactivate, mostly when you return to stock, no root. If you are talking about your initial activation, I say go for it an then root from there.

I would activate it first justvin case. It wont hurt if you activate it first but I don't know what will happen if you don't.
