    Default Droid 2.1 Rollback help?

Hi there, I'm wondering if anyone could link me to the steps I should take to roll back my never-rooted, stock-updated Motorola Droid 2.1 back to 2.0.1 so I can go ahead and root it. I'm sure someone has written it out before but I was having some trouble finding anything.

    Thank you!

You don't have to roll back to root. I did it this way and found it simple

    Default ALMOST worked!

Thanks! I had a bit of a problem though. When I tried to load the sbf into RSD Lite, it didn't seem to recognize the file. In the video after he browsed and selected the file, a lot of file information came up in the right hand box. This however did not happen for me. And I tried hitting start anyway, and lo and behold it failed.

Help? Is this an RSD Lite problem? Seems like it to me. I'll try running it in xp compatibility mode.

Nope, nothin. The only other thing I can think of is that I installed the Droid drivers wrong, but I don't think that would affect the function of RSD Lite at all.

I got it! Moving the sbf to C:/ seemed to do the trick. Phone seems much slower now...could this be a result of the SBRecovery?

No, the recovery is only for recovery mode. Did you reboot the phone?
