Rooted DROID and WiFi Tethering

All right, I've got a rooted DROID. Running the latest version of Cyanogenmod. I've been using WiFi tethering for awhile now, and it works great. So, that's all well and good. But, I've been trying to get my Nintendo Wii to access the WiFi, and I'm now realizing that it's set up as an Ad-Hoc network, and not an actual WiFi hotspot. This is unfortunate, because I obviously can't connect to the Wii in this way.

My question of the night is: is there a WiFi tethering application out there, or some way that I'm not seeing, to make it so that I can have an actual WiFi hotspot, and not just an Ad-Hoc hotspot? Anyone have any ideas? Is it even possible?

Thanks for your help.

Simple answer is no. And I don't think you really want to sync it with your Wii anyway as it will dispense huge amounts of data for free in which Verizon frowns upon. Better read your TOS because a hug bill could be in your future. Just a friendly heads up.
