It doesn't seem to have the baseband included. To view his changelog go .

Downloaded and flashed fast very fast. But honestly don't see a major difference between this and Eliminator once I got it set up. Its just has all the fixes included

    Already? Wow...

I just installed the second 2.2 leak yesterday and we already have this. How does this compare to the second released 2.2 leak for the Droid?

i just downloaded it and gonna load it. it seems like Pete is getting competitive with his roms lately, there is a new one more often then it used to be. nothing beats competition

bizz, your saying it's on the scale of eliminator speeds and just over build quality?

Speed is the same. Build quality is another thing with Eliminator I applied all the fixes like market. With this one its built in. Which is cool from a users standpoint it makes a better experience. For me it doesn't matter. I'm a tinkerer, for the majority this will be a better rom. No bootloops etc. Though once I switched kernels and applied the market fix. I see all the optimizations mean nothing I get the same benchmarks and speed with both

What kearnels is everyone using for this ROM? Do the old kearnels for froyo that fixed wifi work?

    any suggestions for kernels?

ok. back in business. Flashed the .41 baseband from rom manager and still didn't have 3G. Flashed .43 and everything works fine now.

Never had an issue with maps not working on either of the versions from Droid-Life. Couldn't install it from the market but is was pre-installed on the roms so no biggie.

Weird. Guess it installed from the market for me since it lists installed beside it under Downloads. Wiped data and cache before installing BB 2.2 and maps work fine.

    Thumbs up BB FRF57 v.01

    Ok hats off to Pete..

This one has the same speed as before with lin and quad, but the phone itself seems snappier. It's very solid, no reboots even on installation. Metamorph is now fixed and I've had no issues with the market. Chrome to phone still works fine.

Sheesh, everytime I think I can relax, something else comes out. Pete got this out sooner than I thought. I thought it would take another week. One thing I did do is the long benchmark on setcpu and got an insane 520. I never checked it with the last froyo build, but I used to get around 700 on 2.1 with 1.1 GHz OC.

Ok, give me some sic custom themes and I'm good to go for a while. I'm sure there will be updates and such, but dang, let my droid rest for a day or two, lol.
