Horrible screen redraws with LauncherPro

Since installing 2.2, screen redraws have been horrible using Launcher Pro. Anybody else seeing the same problem? Previously I had Cyanogen and spare parts allows for keeping the home screen in memory and it worked great. Hoping this feature will be available when the new version is released.

i agree i tried 5/7 screens with launcherpro and had horrible lag. so i switched down to 3 and its been great still i am looking at other launchers & stock 2.2 launcher to see how they run cause i miss my 5 screens

I should really follow my own advice- a restart helped considerably
