Overclocking Question

Hi Guys,

Been rooted for a while. Right now I am running the 2.2.1 ROM Deodexed.

My question is do we know the right overclock frequency for the CPU to run as fast as you can and minimize FC's on the device. It seems like I get too many FC's when I run it up fast. I have Slayers 1.2GHz Kernel, but am maxing it out at 900MHz right now.

I dropped it down because that sucker gets very hot when it runs at 1.2GHz and kills the battery very fast.

Depends on your specific processor. They don't all overclock the same. You need to figure out the limits of your processor. Try Googling on "binning" and CPU manufacture if you really want the details on why this is.
