Before I use Titanium to uninstall the stock music app, is there any downside to this? Any danger that it will effect any other audio playback apps?

I think it would be safer to freeze the app rather than uninstall it. I mean, if you don't have anything that can open music files directly (love that WinAmp does that), then... well, I don't know what would happen.

Thanks, guys! What I did was just go in and change the name so it would not be usable and all seems to be well. (I did not have the full version yet of Root Explorer to freeze it at the time, I do now!).
