I just bought a Thunderbolt, and am selling my OG Droid to a friend of mine. Does Verizon activate phones that are rooted?
My problem is two-fold, because I don't know if my friend wants the phone as is.. or what. Because I let him play with it today, and I think he seems to like it as is now, which will obviously be much better than stock since I'm running a custom ROM and overclocked. But I also don't think he even knows what rooting is or what it does, so he'd likely be clueless in re-rooting it.
Anyway.. I'm mainly just trying to find out how to un-root it incase Verizon doesn't activate rooted phones.
