LED not flashing when screen comes on.

I'm on BB .8 and when my screen comes on my LED stops flashing. has anyone else had this issue?

its not an issue 2.1 was designed that way if the screen is on the led notification is redundant you can see the notification in the panel so it shuts off

Its not something that can be hacked (rephrase: not something that has been currently hacked), so it's just something to live with.

However, the LED flash will come back on when you turn off the screen. It just doesn't show when the screen is on.
