    Default how to root droid with 2.1

    just updated today to 2.1 today and i was wondering how i can root my phone now.....

    Sbf back to 2.01 only way I know of,

    yeah i might have to swap out for a new phone sometime - i was wondering if there was a way to get back to root. or do you think it'll be 2.0 out of the box?

    will be 2.1 out of the box,unless u order online. then u have a chance.

    I doubt it will be 2.1 out of the box but if it is Sbf back to 2.01

    Actually I do not believe it will be 2.1 out of the box. I would think if you ordered it online it is more likely to be 2.1 than if you bought it in stores. I know I bought my Droid a solid month after the 2.0.1 update, and they had yet to upgrade it.

    It all depends on the store.

    no i got my droid when when 2.0.1 got released and it was still 2.0 and i did an OTA update
