How do you do a factory reset if power button is broken?
Hi Guys, My brother has a OG Droid, actually this is his 3rd one, because he keeps breaking his power button. They wont give him a 4th because it's way past his warranty. Now it's acting up and I wanted to do a factory reset on or or maybe root it, but how will I do this without being able to use the power button? I own a rooted DINC, so I can follow steps pretty good. I'll be searching the forums, but wanted to post first and see if that got me help faster. Thanks in advance!

If you mean a standard factory reset, you can do that from the phone's settings with no need for a power button.
If you mean using and flashing a .sbf file, you'll have to wait for someone a bit more familiar with the Droid to chime in. So here's a bump back to the top
