Best way to screenshot

So the other day I wanted to take some screenshots of my online ticket purchases. Problem is every time I tried, the volume control pops up in front of the picture. Can't seem to get a screenshot without the volume switch activating the popup menu. It looks like we need the ability to use something other then the volume controls.

Do you press the volume down and power buttons at the same time? Works every time for me.

Marshmallow brings an easier way with Google now on tap

It's all about timing. I find easier using both index fingers to press the buttons and the thumbs on the opposite edge to make pressure. Right hand on front and left hand at the back.

Now on Tap will be great once we get Marshmallow.

I always do left hand index on power and right thumb on volume.
