I labeled the card as Sd64 and it worked fine until a couple of days ago, now it doesn't recognize it or says it is damaged and needs reformatting. I pulled it out and had no issues reading the contents on my laptop

Have you tried reformatting it?

Pop it back into the card reader and connect to Windows PC. The card will be shown as an additional drive. Right click, selecting settings the tools and run error checking. Hopefully it will repair the corruption. You shouldn't lose data but as always, do a back up first. If you don't have time to protect valuable data, that's your choice

OK, when the card is in card reader connected to windows, right click the card which will show up as an additional drive, go to properties and tell me the file system on the card.

Thanks
