Security options and Battery... What features have you disabled to keep battery up to par?

What does everyone use for security to wipe their phone in case it gets in the wrong hands?

I see the Android Device Manager option and the Motorola Device policy option.

I've heard that Android device manager can be a battery drain.

Anybody know if the Motorola device policy can also be a drain on the battery?

Was just curious, because I've been getting excellent battery life after disabling some features and now I'm starting to turn some back on in order to see if I can pinpoint what might be causing issues.

Any feedback would be appreciated...

In the battery stats I think it falls under the Google services category. My experience is it constantly wakes the phone.

Interesting, I've noticed that my Google services awake time has gone down since I disabled it. Today, I enabled the Motorola device policy setting. We'll see if it affects the battery negatively.

Let me know how that goes. I don't have that enabled either.
