Badge Icons

I just traded my Note 4 for a Droid Turbo to do a test run on an interface I've never used before. As usual, I disabled app updates, blocked almost all notifications, and now I'm slowly tweaking it as I go along. However, since I started personalizing it I no longer receive badges on my app icons and it's driving me mad. Any ideas or should I factory reset? I obviously messed up somewhere.

I'm also running 5.1. I've only ever used iPhone or Samsung so the Droid is my first.

Did you disable the app "badger"? Re-enable it and restart the phone. See if that does it.

Will do! Haven't disabled any apps yet. Just blocked notifications from apps I don't use so far. But I'll give that a shot.

Well, if it's just set up, just factory reset again. (BTW, badges only happen on the stock launcher, so if you switch to something else, you won't get badges, unless that launcher - like Nova Prime - has its own solution.)

Yeah. It's stock. I'm too whipped to do anything outside warranty to my phone. I could probably go back through and turn notifications on for all of my apps but Badger isn't an option to switch off
