Screen dim in sun.... (sometimes)

Viewing my screen in the sun is not the best experience. I notice that sometimes it will stay bright and I am able to view and other times it will dim a bit and hard to read. Is there a way to force it to be brighter, and yes I've turned off auto dim. Maybe third party app?

Lux Lite is recommended. It will auto-bright/dark the screen but you can manually hit a +/- button to adjust as needed and keep it there as long as needed, and then hit the auto refresh circle to undo your manual changes.

Not hard to use at all. Pretty much let it load up and it'll be nothing more than a sun icon in the upper left hand corner. Pull down from the top and you got the "Backlight: X%" bar and ability to adjust what I spoke of earlier right there without physically going into the app in your list of apps.
