I just got a new Droid Turbo from Motorola, and after I set it up, the lollipop software update started to automatically download. I want to stay on KitKat, because the lollipop update can lower battery life a lot on the Turbo (I know from experience). The problem is that my phone keeps notifying me about the update, and there is not an option to not update. I found an article that gave instructions on how to stop the notification, but root was required, and I want to avoid rooting. Does anyone know a way to stop this notification without updating or rooting?
