it cannot detect wifi anymore and it says "no sim card"

i ordered a replacement through insurance and the refurbished phone also does the same thing.

so we replaced the phone and sim card and nothing works.

verizon wireless store said they have no idea and level 2 tech support said the same thing.

i might be forced to upgrade even though i don't want to.

any ideas what is going on?

thanks

Are you sure you didn't just get the same phone back? Or did they take the old and hand you the new in view?
That is a VERY odd issue to have a second time, especially after you replaced the sim card.

yes but if they send a 3rd most likely will have same issue.

i don't think it's the phone but not sure what it can be.

That doesn't make any sense if the phone worked properly initially.

I would ask them why they thought another replacement would have the same problem and see what they say. I'd also suggest escalating your ticket to a supervisor rather than a regular customer service rep.

Here is a general, "back to basics" question. Did you fully register your replacement Turbo on the VZW network? Especially after registering with a new SIM.

I would check your Verizon account and make sure that the new phone's MEID and new Sim card are activated on your phone number. The VZW reps should have done that for you but. You know how customer service works...
