f2fs filesystem on Ultra
anyone else notice it's not ext4? Was poking around with a terminal emulator on my shiny black Ultra.
/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/userdata /data f2fs rw,nosuid,nodev,noatime,nodiratime,background_gc_on,discard,user_xattr,acl,errors=recover,android_emu=0:1015:664:nocase,active_logs=6 0 0
could be wrong here, but the gnex wasn't ext4 either, was it? so it's like every other google phone in that way? and i'm gonna guess it may have something to do with the no sdcard, and using mtp instead of being mountable as mass storage? just showing my ignorance here...maybe
My Droid RAZR was ext4 for sure.
So, Moto is using F2FS (edit: for userdata and internal sdcard). I read about f2fs on slashdot last year, it's in Linux 3.8. It's supposedly faster than other filesystems on flash storage.
