Since the recent (automatic) update to my Droid Ultra, when I receive a text while in my car, I get the message "Unfortunately Bluetooth share has stopped working" with an "OK" box below it. Then the texts stop being read and sometimes calls are dropped & then I am unable to reconnect. I have read several different "theories" regarding this but have found no fixes for it. The most prominent theory is that "the culprit is a nasty little oversight in the Bluetooth Low-Energy code added with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Once a device has been within range of enough BLE devices, the entire Bluetooth service will begin crashing." And it goes on to say that once the addresses reach 1990 then the service will crash.
So.....does this possibly mean that since I am in my car and passing homes, businesses and other vehicles using bluetooth devices that MY cars bluetooth system is "reading" all of these & crashing? It is annoying as all get out. Is there any way to remedy this problem?
