I went to buy a phone from someone. The phone had been reset so when I was handed the phone it was one the "activate" screen. Everything was ligit but I tried the camara and the front facing camara was fine but the rear camara was like an out of signal television with colored lines across the sreen. I saw no visible defects in the lens... is this something that can be fixed? Or is this a common problem with the ultras?

Welcome to Android Central! It sounds like a defective or broken camera. I haven't come across this commonly in the forums. It's unfortunate that you didn't get a chance to test out the phone completely before paying the seller, and that the seller wasn't completely forthcoming about any defects. You could try contacting the seller again for a refund, but I'm guessing that won't happen.
