So I got a DROID x off craigslist and I love the phone but I do have a issue with it. First of all it was rooted and had the 2.3.3 update on it already when I got it. The phone was mint condition clean esn I paid $120 for it. Now the issue.

The power button has literally no travel, like its real hard to push it to get the screen off. I am right handed and have to use my index finger and push it from a angle like from the back and push forward and down. If I lush straight down nothing happens, there is no click or real travel but I can push it how I described its just a pain.

Is there a trick to speeding the phone up? It is rooted and has super user, I dnt want to overclock the cpu, id rather apply some ttiick if possible

Well I just tried setcpu and it said I dnt have root access, so obviously the phone was rooted then they installed the 2.3.3 update and lost root access because I cannot manually un install super user. How hard is it to root a x?
