I have a custom ringtone assigned for most callers and several other for a few more contacts. When I assigned the custom ringtone it will play when selected. However, when anybody would call whether or not they have a ringtone assigned, the phone will not play any ringtone. Instead the phone will read out the contact name (or the phone number if the caller is not in my contacts) followed by "verizon wireless" every time.
The ringtones are 30 seconds and in mp3 format. They are store in a folder called "ringtones" in the root directory of the SD card. How can I get the phone to play the assigned ringtones?
