Default Using a Droid X without service.

    Hello!
I would like to use my Droid X similarly to an ipod touch, but now, when I then it on, it brings me through the setup wizard, and asks me to make the activation call. Is there any way that the activation call can be skipped? If so, then how? Thanks in advance.

note that you just tap each corner, not drag. I think the image is a little confusing.

For what it's worth, that's the first post in the first result of a google search for [skip droid x activation.] I really DON'T intend to sound preachy (read: like a ******,) I just want to point out that a quick Google search for what you wanted to do would have answered this for you hours sooner

Lol, yeah just bypass the wizard and you have a media player and a pretty good camera, just remember the battery life still sucks.

I just got one of these DX's for my daughter and it seems just fine. I didn't even have to do the four corners thing to bypass activation! Pretty cool. But the battery has gone almost 2 days in airplane mode, and she's made some wifi calls to me as well. Interesting...
