Very cool! thanks for grabbing the links and bringing them over here.

This just gets more and more exciting by the day as info slowly leaks out. Can't wait to ditch my Tour! :D

I see that. I guess that is the date that stores can order their sample/demo phones for in-store display.

What caught me was on the first page of the Launch Package it says:

"Push email support: Gmail & Exchange & Yahoo"

That's huge news for any Yahoo users (which includes ATT, BellSouth, etc); they won't have to set up gmail accounts to get push email support!

That was one of my issues with android after having been a Blackberry user. I really didn't want to have to start things all over with Gmail just to get my push email. It looks like on the Droid X, I won't have to go Gmail.....

Did anyone notice this tip from page 18 of the user guide?

General tips:
• If aren’t able to see the screen while wearing sunglasses, take them off. Screen brightness changes as your phone senses the current lighting conditions.

bizarre.

what does the light level that my eyes receive (diminished by sunglasses) have to do with the light level perceived by the sensor on the phone?

and yes, many LCD displays are negatively affected when viewing through polarization...as a regular prescription sunglasses wearer, i see it all the time.
