Droid X to GS3 - Keepers?

I have about a thousand pics and videos of my kids on there, so I don't wanna lose them on the switch... To save me an hour long call to customer service, can anyone quickly tell me if i get the GS3, can I transfer all my pics/videos? Or are they gone :-( ?

Just plug it into a computer and back them up that way as a safe backup. The file system is accessible on PC.

I concur. Make a back up on your desktop and drop and drag to your new device. You might want to consider saving important pics on a cloud service as well.

Doesn't the G3 have a MicroSD slot?

Since the photos and vids on your X are (should be) on the SD card, just move that over to the new device.
