    Smile Tethering with The DX?

Will I be able to Tether using my New Droid X tomorrow when I pick it up? I'm a BB Storm 2 Owner (soon to be previous owner) and I currently use Tetherberry and they are only in beta testing for Android devices. so I was wondering if anyone knows of other ways I can accomplish this?

BTW, Hello everyone! Newbie here! after several years with various BB devices, I'mmaking the move to the Droid X!

Yep, with the $20, or $30 add on to your verizon plan depending on how much data you plan on using.

PDAnet and EasyTether are the common ones I hear of. You could see whichever one works better for you. :P

Tethering is much smoother on my old WM phone, I can use it as a USB modem, no software on my computer required. This requires 'rooting' to do on Android.

One might draw the conclusion that increased "free" tethering rates and increased difficulty in rooting is related... Still beats the next step - tiered data plans...
