What is the status of your Droid X order

Does anyone know? I have searched and can only find inventory questions.

I want to know if I am staying up late or getting up early to put in my order.

I called yesterday and a rep told me 12:01 eastern time...give or take a few minutes for the website to update.

This made me have another thought as to why internet/telephone sales don't go live the day before the release date so you would receive the phone on the release date.

Just preordered my x from Verizon telesales. Still not shipping till tomorrow though.

It comes out tomorrow. So if you call telesales today they will ship it tomorrow morning.

Its Verizon telephone sales. They will also give you the rebate instantly just like online. Their number is 800-256-4646. Also I got the one year contract on it. It was 269.99 with the instant rebate.

I would try again. Because the rep I talked to helped me right away. He said mine was the twelfth he had done today that was about an hour ago. He said they were definitely taking orders today and shipping tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone! Looks like I am staying up. I would try to go with telesales if I didn't want to use the coupons someone posted yesterday or the day before. 10% off of $150 (after NE2 and 2yr) is nice. Might put that toward an accessory or something. Dunno yet.

Accessories will be available at launch too right? The dock, screen protects, etc. everything they showed at the launch presser?

Excited. If 12:01am holds true, I got 13hr and 33 min until I seal the deal.

no, they offer overnight shipping so if you order it tommorrow it will be at your doorstep on Friday.

i also tried calling tele-sales, and they said it's NOT available to order until tommorrow.

I doubt I was just lucky enough to get a knowledgeable rep. I would push the issue or call back and get another rep. I got an order number and everything. He didn't even hesitate or have to look into it. He just took my order right away.

You can upgrade in a year anyway with Verizon Annual Upgrade

They let pre order one. The rep will be placing the order for me first thing in the morning. So I have to call him after 1pm tomorrow for a tracking number.

I have an order # as well.

Sucks Telesales has the MIR though.
