How to delete contact history

Does anyone know how to delete contact history? I tried everything i can think of. Even after deleting the actual text message out of text messaging the messages are still showing up in contact history.

market look for HistoryErase. U can clear a lot of stuff like contacts calls and market search history.

So you can use that history eraser and go into contacts and view contact history and your conversation with that contact will be gone? I don't think so.

Yeah, I have the same problem. And the History Easer doesnt work on Contact history.

Edit: Ok I see what you are saying it shows the last 10 text messages in the history section on the contacts history list. Just text BS text messages if you dont want someone else to read them on your last 10 text messages problem solved. lol

lol dont use text. use Google talk or another im program. then dont have to worry about any history.

The only way to delete the contacts history is to delete the individual contact then re-add said contact.

Just open up text messages, menu select multiple. Select them all and delete. Same thing with call history.

If you press and hold a text message, you have the option to delete the message(s). Where else are you guys saying they're showing up?

If the person you are texting is in your contact list open up the contact page and scroll the window over and you will see history ,scroll the other way and if you have a social network set up you will see info on that .

At first I thought they meant about deleting the text conversation as well as the text message but they are talking about the history which stores the last 10 text messages with that contact. I dont think it is the entire message, maybe even just some kinda reference to that message , but some of it is there
