it should go like so: *86,password#

Don't forget the # right after the password. NO COMMA after the password.

    It is actually *86,,password#

I have the stock Music app and the Music beta app on my DX. Sometimes when I run the phone through Bluetooth in my car, the stock app will override the beta app. Is there a way to tell the phone only to use the beta app for Music and to never use the stock Music app? I really have no need for the stock app anymore...

If you are rooted, you could just "freeze" the stock music app.

I should have mentioned that I am not rooted and would rather not be if there is a way to accomplish this without it. Any way to do this without root?

Yeah, that is pretty cool. There's an option in the settings to turn that on or off as well as double tapping the screen to silence the ringer.
Just touch the volume keys and it will silence also

Settings > Call settings > Voicemail setting, then input *86,[pass], should work. Don't forget the comma between the *86 and your pass
thanks I have been wondering how to do that.

not sure if any of you have come across this yet, but when your phone is ringing, you can flip the phone to face down and it will swap it to vibrate (great for if you are in a meeting and forgot to silence your phone)
I just tried that and it didn't work, is there something that I would have to press to activate that feature?
