Really looking forward to this update!

Mainly for the first 2 bulletins in this list, because I too am experiencing the problem with the battery reporting wrong percentages. And anything that yields "smoother transition('s)" is a plus in my book

Of course everything else on the list is great, because it means they are paying attention and working on better support. Just means a better phone for everyone!

No wonder my battery was drained today. It's been constantly sucking at 3G all day. Battery died in like 5-6 hours.

Hoping it won't be to many days before OTA shows up.

Though I checked periodically, I am really not expecting to see it today. I'm having enough fun tinkering around with the X that the update will just be icing. Of course, the real update I'm waiting for is Froyo.

I didn't see anything about an email, but maybe I just missed it. Looks to me that you will be notified by the display screen on the DX showing that the update is available, with the options to Install Now, or Install Later.
