How do I change the home screen?

Pretty new to android and thoroughly appreciating it. Need some help. Is there a way to move one of the seven screen to the home "middle" area? I would like to move a whole screen rather then clearing it and adding all the apps and widgets. Thanks.

I've not found a way to move the screen, so I just rebuilt the main screen to my needs and then moved on to the others.

I would move the home screen icons and widgets to another blank screen and then the do the same to the screen you want to see at the home spot.

Kind of involved, but it works.

Does anyone know how to reset all the pages to factory settings WITHOUT doing a factory reset?

In the Hero you can do this through the Applications but I didnt see it in the Droid X. Thanks for any help.

How about reducing the number of home screens on the stock UI?

I'm learning to love Launcher Pro, but not being able to resize the widgets is limiting me and I don't need a whopping 7 home screens...
